Clear Buttons

The clear buttons delete all or a portion of the calculator's numeric display. Some clear buttons also remove pending operators and tape entries. The buttons are defined below in order of least impacting to most impacting:

Backspace Button

Clears the last digit entered.

Keyboard = Backspace

Clear Entry Button

Clears the value in the numeric display.

Keyboard = Delete

Clear Button

Clears the current calculation and totals.

Keyboard = Esc

Clear Tape Button

Clears the tape entries, current calculation, and totals. The Clear Tape Button is disabled when the tape is off.

Keyboard = Shift + Delete
